Maldive 2004-2005

Qui presentiamo un sunto delle immersioni fatte da tre isole: Madoogali, Maafushivaru e Kihaad. Le prime due sono situate nell’atollo di Ari, l’ultima in quello di Baa.

Madoogali 2005 (Ari Atoll)

Il resort è molto carino, però i bungalows hanno meno spiaggia di fronte rispetto a Moofushi. La cucina è buona anche se non c’è molta varietà. Atmosfera informale. Alla sera si può dare da mangiare a due squali nutrice che vengono a riva.

Il diving è ottimo ed i gestori molto simpatici e disponibili. Immersioni molto belle e varie anche qui ed Annalisa, la nostra guida, ce le ha rese ancor più divertenti.

It is a nice resort even if the beach is small in front of the bungalows.

Good cuisine even if it is not variegated. The atmosphere is casual.

In the evening there are two big Nurse Sharks that come to the shore to eat pieces of fishes from your hands.

Excellent diving centre and the owner’s are really nice. Very good diving here too.

Maafushivaru 2005 (Ari Atoll)

Il resort è bello ma la cucina potrebbe essere migliore.

I ragazzi che durante l’alta stagione gestisono il diving (Cinzia e Daniele) sono molto disponibili e simpatici ma, purtroppo e non per colpa loro, le immersioni sono molto care e fanno pagare a parte il passaggio barca.

Le immersioni si sono svolte quasi tutte all’interno dell’atollo e, pertanto, la quantità di pesce è inferiore a quella riscontrata in quelle fatte nelle zone di Moofushi e Madoogali.

The resort is really good but the cuisine could be better.

Cinzia e Daniele (the diving centre managers) are really nice and always ready to help you but unfortunately the owner charges high diving prices and you have to pay the boat separately…

Diving sites are located inside the Atol so there are few fishes compared to Moofushi and Madoogali area.

Kihaad 2004

Il resort è grande circa il doppio degli altri tre menzionati nel sito. I bungalows sono belli ma molti non hanno spiaggia. Il ristorante non è il fiore all’occhiello di questo villaggio.....

Dal nostro punto di vista c’è troppa animazione.

Il diving è ottimo ma le immersioni non valgono un granché: poco pesce e pochi colori rispetto alle precedenti isole. Anche qui le immersioni si sono svolte all’interno dell’atollo, però abbiamo avuto la fortuna di incontrare le mante (novembre). Dicono che ad agosto ci siano gli squali balena quasi davanti al resort....

The resort is very big compared to the other three mentioned here. The bungalows are very good but many of them have very little beach in front of them. The cuisine could really be better!

In our opinion there are too much activities.

The diving centre is good but the dive sites are poor because they are all inside the atoll and therefore there are few colours and fishes. However we were very lucky because, in November, we saw Manta Rays! They say in August its possible to see the Whale Shark near the resort….
